They will be present at La Reserva de Sotogrande Invitational Noemí Jiménez, Silvia Bañón, Luna Sobrón, Carmen Alonso and Nuria Iturrios.
With just over two months to go for the expected premiere at the Ladies European Tour of La Reserva de Sotogrande Invitational (May 16 to 19), some Spanish players have already confirmed their presence.
The Marbella player Noemí Jiménez, 19th in the 2018 LET Order of Merit, will be in Sotogrande. The 25-year-old will fight alongside the other four confirmed Spaniards for the title of the first edition of this event, which aims to secure its place as a prestigious stop in the Ladies European Tour schedule.
Silvia Bañón will also be attending this first Sotogrande event and will seek to inaugurate her winning record on the Ladies European Tour. The best place to do it, the first edition of this tournament.
Luna Sobrón, Carmen Alonso and Nuria Iturrios will also play at La Reserva de Sotogrande Invitational.
The Majorcan Luna Sobrón, recent winner of the Santander Campeonato de España de Profesionales, will be part of the group of Spanish golfers present in Sotogrande along with Carmen Alonso (48th in the 2018 LET Order of Merit), another Spanish golfer who will be from May 16 to 19 at La Reserva Club de Sotogrande. Carmen finished in the top 50 of last season’s Order of Merit and that’s how she won a place in this event.
Finally, Nuria Iturrios will seek her second triumph in the LET. The Spaniard had a great start of the year with a second place in the Australian Ladies Classic in Bonville, and she wants to continue moving up the ranks and consolidating herself as one of the most promising young golfers around the world.
